Songwriters' competition at Artmosphere

Tuesday evenings are usually set aside at Artmosphere Bistro as songwriters night, but tonight a special songwriters night competition is in place.

Unlike regular its songwriters nights, a $3 cover ($6 for under 21) will be in place to help off set costs and also goes toward the prizes. The winning songwriter will receive a prize package consisting of a paid gig at Artmosphere, professional photography and graphic design promoting your show and a $50 gift certificate.

Doors open at 8 p.m. and a voting card will be handed out at the door.

Early time slots will be added. Only every other time slot can be booked in advance. The rest of the slots will be filled from sign up that night. Winner must be present at the end of the night for the announcement.

There will be a drum set on stage for musicians who chose to do a band performance.
