Apex Innovations is one of 14 Louisiana companies selected to be part of the Louisiana Economic Gardening pilot program, offered by Louisiana Economic Development through the National Strategic Research Team of the National Center for Economic Gardening.
The initiative is designed to provide Louisiana-based small businesses with information to aid their growth and success. Through accelerated technical assistance and research, an experienced national economic gardening team will provide customized services tailored to the needs of companies like Apex.
“Innovative, high idea and fast-growing companies are selected, and we are honored and proud to have been chosen,” says Marianne Bourgeois, president and founder of Apex, which provides interactive online education tools and programs for medical professionals. “We look forward to working with the National Strategic Research Team as we target growth opportunities via new markets and additional products.”
The pilot program provides for an individualized review of core strategies based on specific initiatives of each company. Services include business strategy, opportunities and competitive threats, niche markets, and management and employee temperament. The national teams of experts are also able to examine and make recommendations for market research and competitive intelligence, search engine optimization and Internet and social media strategies.
Apex Innovations was nominated to participate in the program by Acadiana Economic Development, a regional organization representing the primary economic developers in Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin and Vermilion parishes.
Founded in 2003, Apex designs, manufactures and provides tools, software, competencies, resources and accredited educational web-based programs for individuals, universities, organizations and corporations around the world.
