The projected cost(upwards of $120 million dollars) for building an elevated Evangeline Thruway would go a long way toward the construction of a "true" by pass around Lafayette. The project can be done, the project should be done and all this nonsense concerning construction of an elevated Evangeline Thruway should be abandoned.
