Just got on the site to book a flight with the "low introductory rate". Well what they don't tell you is that after fees, taxes, surcharges, are paid the "introductory low rate" flight comes to 265 per person. I love the idea of a direct flight to Vegas and will book anyway, but hate the idea that their "low introductory" rate is very misleading at 89.99. If this is the low introductory rate, (265), what will it be once they go to regular pricing/rates? - Book Lady

I just went to the Allegiant site to book a flight to Vegas on the "introductory" rates.....and there are alot of fees that they don't mention....once all fees were enumerated and paid, the flight ended up being 265.00 per person! Granted, it is a direct flight and I am thrilled that it is being offered. I just am not a big fan of misleading the public into thinking it is as "cheap" as they advertise. In addition, if this is the "introductory" rate and it is $265, then it won't be any cheaper than any other flight after the introductory special. Like I said, love the idea of a direct flight, just not crazy about misleading advertising about the cost. - Book Lady

Wait a minute. What about gambling (wasting) your hard earned money locally? If you going to piss it away, do it at a truck stop! - Anthony Boudin

Now THIS is economic development! TheIND needs to dig deeper into this and find out what bureaucrat is responsible. This is awesome. I'll be in on the intro rate, too. - ragin_cajun

This is great news for me and my family!!! Flights from Salt Lake City (where I live) to LRA is well over $400 per person round trip. I go to Vegas quite often and this would be great to catch a straight flight to Lafayette for $200. - UtahCajun
