E’s Kitchen announces second food truck round-up
After the immense success of the first food truck round-up, E’s Kitchen is going at it again.
E’s Kitchen will hold its second food truck round-up on Saturday, Nov. 3, where food trucks from around Lafayette with gather to serve up a mélange of culinary treats.
Those in attendance will be the established Viva La Waffle and Bon Repas, along with new kids on the block Freetown Fries and Lil Chubs Grill, along with Manhattan Food Co. For a sweet cool-down, Kona-Ice will be serving its signature snowballs.
The trucks will round up at 10 a.m. at the oak trees in Parc Lafayette and leave after 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
David Calhoun and Elizabeth “EB” Brooks are the first two employees of Lafayette Central Park Inc., the nonprofit charged with turning Lafayette Consolidated Government’s 100-acre Johnston Street Horse Farm property into a passive public park. Calhoun was named executive director, and Brooks is director of planning and design.
