C’est What? Laid off Times-Pic staffer shares parting words

When a Lafayette journalism professor sent an email recently (and by accident) to a Times-Picayune email address belonging to one of the 200 T-P employees who were canned following the Picayune’s newsroom massacre and switch to a three-day-a-week print newspaper, the following out-of-office reply bounced back to his inbox:

times-picayune-layoffs-page2“Outta here. Forever. My friends know how to contact me. You’re obviously not one of them. Have a good 3 days a week.”

Parting words from a bitter ex-employee: Priceless.
