New biz park going up in Iberia

Iberia Economic Development Authority has purchased six acres to jump-start the development of a business park, Progress Point Business Park, near Acadiana Regional Airport. IEDA will purchase an additional 44 acres to be acquired this fall.

Upon the recommendation of an economic development consultant, plans were made to develop an upscale mixed-use commercial park to attract a wide variety of businesses from office space and warehousing to retail.
